Highs and Lows

Highs and Lows - student project

It took me three days to really come up with something I'm happy about. But first, let me walk you through my discoveries.

So here are what interests me.

And here's my Top 3 with thumbnails.

I initially came up with this freehand portrait which is totally unrelated.

Before I came up with this representation of what I normally see/feel during roadtrips.

Until this happened.

I named this set 'Hormones' instead of 'Emotional Highs' because at the end of the day, the depth of these emotions are driven by hormones. Not sure if it's obvious but these represent Happiness, Sadness, and Anger. How is this related to the project? First, if you zoom in, you'll see lines which resembles a #. To me, those are rough sketches of skyscrapers. The lines forming odd facial expressions and choice of colors signify the different states of a human mind. It's kind of a struggle to identify my artistic voice between my interests and my random paintings so if you can find more similarities than I did, feel free to leave a comment.
