I like to take architectural pictures from time to time, and this course was a great opportunity to draw some of my favorite pictures! My main 2 inspirations were from Dylan's examples, so I tried to search for similar drawings. I like to draw outlines so in this project I wanted to use a nib pen. Some of my warm ups.

I didn't want the orientation of the postcards to be my obstacle, so aimed for 2 of each orientations. My first ones are portrait - a building at the German Colony that probably was a local church and the other one is a residential building that looks like it was inspired by the Japanese architecture. Both of the buildings are very foreign in the middle eastern environment.
The landscape postcards are of the same neighborhood. I like it because it reminds me of Russian Soviet neighborhoods, that are getting old and sad in a new century of modern architecture.
Over all, I'm pretty happy with the products, I feel though that I could work more on the contrasts by maybe reducing the grey tones. I guess I'll come with more practice. I really enjoyed this course!
