We've had a serious lack of sunshine in our area of Ontario, Canada over the last month. Today it peeked out and gave me the energy to photograph these little guys. This was one of the gifts we made at the beginning of December for this class and I decided to keep it for myself (am a little selfish).
Here are a fewof tips to keep succulents thriving indoors over the winter:
keep them by a window with full light all day. If they don't get enough light they'll start to stretch and grow long;
they like it cooler, so close to a window is great;
water minimally: add water to the soil (avoid foliage if you can) every couple of weeks. The soil should have a chance to dry out a bit.
Don't get discouraged if some don't make it - one of my favourites in another cup didn't. :(
Would love to see a picture of any succulents you have at home!
