Handmade Marks to Abstract Patterns

Handmade Marks to Abstract Patterns - student project

I absolutely loved this class and I had a lot of fun making cool patterns! I used a 05 Tombow MONO drawing pen and a Japanese brush pen for these marks.

Here is the original image of the mark I made. It reminds me of the rings inside a tree trunk. I decided to only take one part of this mark and use it in a pattern instead of the whole thing.

I experimented with different color variations

Thanks Evgeniya & Dominic for this class! I really enjoyed it. I definitely am going to be making more patterns!
