Many leather workshops in the city are enormous spaces with a lot of money invested in, with a lot of prestige and huge amounts of production. It is well said that leather goods are a little bit expensive due to the delicacy of the material and the huge labor there is behind.
Damian's mother, has been working with leather for more than 50 years, and he refuses the idea of selling leather goods at a very high price; "It should be something basic, not a luxury or something you need to save for months" she says. Nevertheless, Damian built a small workshop in his room with her mother's leather (buying it to her, obviously) making modern leather accessories for an everyday carry (wallets, key holders, sunglass cases, kindle covers, etc.), at an accessible price for costumers.
The workshop is located in Transito, a neighborhood located 20 minutes from downtown, and is where he produces all of his products.
