One of the greatest things to come out of 250+ days of lockdown was stumbling across Bernadette's videos on YouTube and rediscovering the joys of sewing. I might just be beginning my journey down the rabbit hole of Historical Sewing techniques, but I am loving every minute of it. I've always wanted to go back to basics and really master the fundamentals of hand stitching, and this has been a fantastic introduction. Backstitching has been my nemesis in the past, but no longer! I'm quite proud of my attempts (there's a few wonky stitches in there, but overall I'm very happy), so proud I couldn't wait until I had finished the rest of the modules before posting a photo. Thank you Bernadette!
