I've had my Etsy shop for a couple of years now, but this is the first time I'm looking to be more strategic with "seasonal" items. By strategic, I mean just having them.
I designed some enamel pins for Halloween, which is nice because I feel that has some built in keywords there. The pins have been up for about 12 hours now, so I have plenty of time to play with the SEO and see what happens.
So far, I've had other artists share it on instagram, some initial orders, and new follows. It's wild how inter-connected it can all be.
To save time, I took pictures while I was doing my product quality checks, that way I could have everything out and arrange them for photos.
