Green-Green No. 3

1. Choose item and matching colors

I love green. My absolute favorite shirt is this light green one and I often wear this dark green jacket with it. So this was a choice that nearly happend by its own.

2. Making the closure

I didn't go for the knot to make the handle, but decided to braid (right word?) the strings as they were three. Then I bended them in the form of the handle and started from there. I hope the photos make this understandable. I just invented it and can't remember how we did it in school.

I lacked a clipboard, so I used a clothespin to hold the strings.

On the right you can see the first two knots, where the strings are sticking out in a rectangular way.

With the third knot (string 3 and 4) the closure is closed.

3. Starting the bracelet

Then I just went on with pattern no. 3. In school we used a safety pin to clip the bracelets to our trousers. This way we could do it during the lessons under the table...

Times are so busy right now I just can't sit down and finish my bracelet in peace. But I wrapped the strings around the safety pin and now I can carry it around with me like this:

Finally it's finished. Maybe the strings for closing turned out a bit long, but I could still shorten them. First I wear it!

A second one and I am now wearing them on my foot:
