Grayscale To Full Color - student project

First off, I wanted to do some kind of game character-ish concept art. I did different thumbnails to choose the sillouhette of the figure and narrowed down to one that is somehwat dynamic.

These were two of three silouhettes and I chose the one on the right

The character chosen is some kind of elf warrior, with a large sword, and a lion shoulder armor. 

I don't have early steps, but this is the earliest I have.

So far just the major components are laid out, and at this point I don't know what to do with details. I had to change the legs up, cause it looked odd in my point of view.

Grayscale To Full Color - image 3 - student projectneed to posiion the ear up more, just noticed that as I posted this here. Personally, I focuse on the face, cause it's fun to do. 

I changed her hair up because one part would be difficult to render. (changed on 4/20/14) Slow progress because of school OTL

I changed the angle of her torso, and currrently still rendering the face (mostly the nose and mouth) I adding floating "horns" or some kind of halo like crown, to add a bit more interesting silouhette. She's coming along more demonic than elfish lol.
