Goals to make a living as a SPD

Goals to make a living as a SPD - student project

Thank you so much Maja, I really enjoyed the class. Very straightforward and simple to understand something that feels so complicated when you are trying to figure it out by yourself. I´m very thankful for your work!!

So a little about myself, not more than a year is gone since I discovered Surface Pattern Design, and suddenly a dream was born inside me. This year I have been trying to be brave enough to create little patterns, and not too brave to share them. I am working and willing to develop a signature style, fighting with determination and consistency, which are hard for me often.

About my Core Values:

  1. Independence to create wherever I want. I haven't quite decided where I want to live, and to be able to have a career anywhere I want sounds just right.
  2. Family. I want to be able to take my time and enjoy life with my family and friends. To be able to decide on a monday morning that I would rather go to the beach with my family than go into an office sounds idyllic.

This year I am committed to:

  1. Create as many patterns as I can in order to create what sounds like a huge word to me: my signature style.
  2. Build up confidence to show and promote my work.
  3. Create a collection that makes me happy when I look at it.

Once again, thank you so much!
