Ghost in the Machine II

I've been reading up on glitch/glitch art for the past few weeks, for a project of my own called "Ghost in the Machine," which is basically autoportraits using a scanner.

The project has "oldest" images on top, well, mostly. I add new images to the lessons they 'belong' to. Scroll, scroll, scroll away.

Here are few things I made with just messing around with RAW files in Photoshop (I used different images, not the one I work with completing lessons) :

Changing the canvas size on import, 2 channels (I think) Interleaved, 8 bits, 0 header

Changing the canvas size on import, 3 channels, Interleaved, bitmap > grayscale > rgb, 0 header

More of this :

LESSON 1 :
TextEdit / TextEdit (-+) / Hex Fiend (find&replace)

LESSON 2 :
Gif / GIMP

LESSON 3 :

Gif / Audacity : wahwah+equalization+echo and others.

When I don't have a story to tell, I turn everything into landscapes.

When I make autoportraits, they turn demon-y.

LESSON 4 :

Datamashup / Audacity (using images I made in lesson 3)

+ noise + silence etc.
