Over the past few years I've been making slow progress towards my fitness goals. When I started on this journey I was 152 lbs (I'm 5'1), the past 2 years I've managed to lose about 15 lbs, but by the end of the year I've gained about 10 of it back. I want this year to be different.
I'm starting out this year at 137 lbs and my goal is to get to 120 lbs and manage to not gain most of it back. I haven't been 120 since I was a sophmore in high school so I'm not really sure what my body is going to be like when I get there so I plan on re-evaluating my goals once I get there to see what I need to do.
Another goal I have is to first be able to actually run for a mile straight, and then once I can do that I want to start working towards being able to do a 5k. There are two 5k's that I am really interested in, the Color Run and the Electric Run and I would really like to be able to participate in at least one of them this year.
Basically I want to lose some weight, and increase my overall wellness so I can lead a happy and healthy life. :)
