Garden lovelies

Hi I'm Louise

I'm a graphic designer in Manchester, UK. We branched out into wall murals a couple of years ago and I was looking around on here to further my skills to create new designs which were unique to us. I wasn't looking to do a repeat pattern design but I got so engrosed in the class I decided to give it a go.

I want to use the skills I have learnt from this class to create one large vector image/scene to go on a wall mural.

Anyhow here's how I've been getting on....

Ok so now I'm kind of going off at a tangent... I've got an idea in mind that hopefully I can apply to a repeat pattern that will also work as one large image in it's own right. I've sourced the images from the internet as I want a kingfisher theme which I'm unlikely to stumble accross to photograph any time soon. I plan to go more stylised on this one but we'll see what happens.

ELEMENTS FOR PATTERN:

This time I went for an image trace on one of the flowers as I felt my first attempt was lacking somthing so I hope this would add some depth.

PATTERNS:

I think I went a bit overboard on the colourpalette as I created so many colour varients on the patterns but here's a few...
