Game Face 2013

I've been fighting severe, chronic clinical depression for years now. I was super active until I hit college and that's when everything kind of stalled for me. I gained 35lbs and spent about 4 years just ass sitting. A little over a year ago, I got fed up with it and started gettign treatment. 6 months after that I started Brazilian jiujitsu again (stopped 8 years prior after a neck injury). Now I train almost every day and try to hit the gym 3 times a week. This year I want to start competing again, which means stepping up my game on the mat and in the gym. Also, my biggest weakness is food though. It's always been my coping "drug" of choice. I want this to be the year I get control over food instead of the other way around! Here are some of my goals:

  1. Improve conditioning for jiujitsu
  2. Compete at least twice this year
  3. Hit kcal and protein goals an average of 5 days a week
  4. Drop to 20% bf (ok, this is just vanity...)
