This is one of the most fun classes I have taken on Skillshare. Thank you Rich!
Here are my first two pieces.
This is my first coloured piece, to which I added a simple embossed mandala.
Next I tried to use one of my gold textures (made with actual metallic paint) to add some gold to the marbling and then some gold flecks on top.
You've created a monster, I'm liquifying everything!
I like to create textures with real-world art materials and scan them to use in my digital art (class coming soon). In the example below, the image on the left is a scan of some alcohol ink. On the right, I did a bit of liquifying with Push, then used Expand to try to simulate alcohol drops on the ink. I wanted a lighter centre to the drops, so I added a spot of light yellow before using Expand.
