Frutti di Bosko Bon Bons

Started with the mood board and making notes.

Picked an obscure phrase from the 1930s "Pin a Rose on You." Was said when someone was boasting or overly proud. Below showing how I worked thru 3 versions until someone said it was too hard to understand the meaning from the visual. I should have just shown a rose with a pin thru it!!!He said "the viewer shouldn't have to work to get the point of the graphic!"

So I scrapped the whole "Pin a Rose on You" idea (showing the 3 versions) and started anew with a box of bon bons from the fictitious candy maker "Frutti di Bosko."
