Shoot & Edit a Music Video

ASSIGNMENT

Create a Basic Music Video of any genre using a DSLR, iPhone, Camcorder, or any other video recording device. The purpose of this class is to learn the basics of how to create a music video utilizing resources that are readily available to you. By utilizing those resources you will be able to create your very own music video in no time. The video should be between 1-4 minutes long. This assignment is great practice for anyone looking to dive right into creating music videos. You will also learn the basics of editing your music video to create a nice polished finished project.

DELIVERABLE

Upload your 1-4 minute Music Video on youtube or vimeo, and share the link in the project gallery.

MATERIALS

Video Recording Device: DSLR, Camcorder, iPhone, iPad

Editing Software: Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, or iMovie.

You may edit using any software you please. I will be editing using Final Cut Pro X.
