This is Day 1.
I watched all the videos, printed out the resources, and used both to practice.
This is Day 2.
I experimented with a Crayola marker. I need much more practice to be comfortable lettering in this manner.
This is Day 3.
This was a quick practice session. Just practiced a few new words.
This is Day 4.
I decided to try lettering all the words that made up a specific phrase, and then you can see I got distracted and started to doodle toward the bottom of my page. :)
This is Day 5.
Realizing I hadn't focused on individual letters, I wanted to spend this practice session doing that.
This is Day 6.
This is what I came up for my final piece. I drew it out, scanned it into the computer, printed and refined it, and created the final draft of the drawing portion.
These are my final pieces.
Here is what I ended up with. I took my final drawing back onto the computer, cleaned it up and added some color. I wanted to share both options because I liked the look of each.
Fun class! I hope to revisit it again in the future for a refresh and because I know that my experience/end product is likely to be drastically different.
