First go at weaving

I've always been good with my hands. Drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, tapestry...anything crafty....I'll give it a go if I like the end look of it. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Rachel's woven wall hanging class. The wall hanging she walks you through was in one of my favourite colour combinations. I had to start it NOW. But of course I didn't have anything except wool so I had to wait till the next day to purchase a loom. Once I got home with it, I quickly put my 4 year old daughter to bed for a nap and got cracking. Now....I'm addicted! I want to weave another wall hanging for my bedroom. Here's how my one turned out. I wanted a colourful combination as I intended to hang it on our family art gallery which has all my kid's art work on it. This was the one piece of mine I was going to contribute and I'm so pleased with it. Thank you Rachel for your informative, fun and well thought out tutorial. Keep them coming! I would love to see other types of knots to add to the texture of the pieces.
