While making my pin boards I have noticed a love for colour & pattern that reflect my chosen path at 18, textile design. After taking another road I spent many years in Education & now have recently returned to my creative roots.

Looking at this snapshot of my board I have just realised the central picture of the Taj Mahal transports me back to being 6 or 7 years old and a project on India, doing endless enjoyable drawings, a couple which I still have!
I love the photography of Vivian Maier, her compositions & storytelling are really appealing & I would like to find my own visual voice, unfortunately I have a lot of catching up to do.

Creating different boards has helped me find what I’m drawn to, from shadows to maps, it has enabled me to try and analyse what about those images appeals to me.

I like wandering the side streets on my travels, creative  workshops in beautiful surroundings feature on my board & I would like to eventually give back in some way connected to the arts.
For now I feel I’m on the right path, I’m doing courses where I can, I would ultimately love a mentor to help guide me. I am setting up an Etsy shop & am able to do my own printing. I have lists & smart goals which I review each week. It’s all a new & exciting challenge.
