My name is Dan Twomey (IG handle d2me2001 - I admittedly have not posted a ton to IG...moreso on FB for friends and family to enjoy...i know, i know). 

I have found balance over the last year or so by starting my day in nature, picking up a smartphone photography habit to document the journey.  Joe's approach really resonated with me, as I often find myself drawn to the simple, natural beauty that reveals itself in the smallest, or most unlikely of details that we normally blow by, when not in tune with our surroundings.

This set of 3 takes on the warm glow of the morning sunrise as it accentuates details in drab objects like a rock wall,

 a fallen/dead hydrangea in dirty snow,

and a seed pod of a tree in winter.

The technical composition and editing could probably be a little better, but i still like the overall feeling they evoke from a consistency standpoint.
