It is interesting to mix some oil based media with water based and chalky. I get a kind of wax resist with the oil pastels and the watercolours. I could make black marks over the oil pastels with ink, but my bottle of ink is kind of dry and sticky. I wonder if I will be able to do that after I reconstitute my ink with water, or whether I should keep it as a fun sticky mess. 
My drawing is very wet. I’ll probably go back in when it’s dry and do some more with my fine line markers.
