Faster, Leaner, Stronger

In 2012, I went from the "Couch to Marathon" in 9 months.  Even though my training plan included strength training and cross training, I pretty much only ran, and used the off days as recovery days.  I finished the Marathon in 5:12, which I was pretty pleased with considering I had never run before (and I'm 48).  I managed to lose 15 pounds (and keep it off), but I didn't do much with diet. This year my goal is to lose another 15 pounds (and improve my diet), learn to run faster, and tone up.  I am signed up for a half Marathon in the fall, so I feel like I have the time to improve, just need the tools & know-how.
