I started off practising drawing some faces using some reference images I collected, on printer paper as I'm waiting for some new art paper to arrive. I got a bit carried away instead of practising simplifying their features, but  I may base a couple of, my painted characters on these.

This was my first attempt.  I really wasn't expecting much when I started these so was pleased when they turned out a bit better than I'd expected.  When I have more access to supplies I will take more time in the planning stage and see what I can come up with.
