I'm more of a hobby artist just having some fun (nothing professional), so the majority of these are results of Skillshare classes I completed last year, as honestly, I just haven't done too much outside of that these last couple of years in regard to my own art practice. Nevertheless, from these I can see that I very much enjoy repetition of pattern to create texture; the stippling technique; bold contrasts; lean toward a preference for black-and-white; a vivid colour palette when I do decide to use colour; repeated mark-making; high percentage of animals as subject; preference for 'realism', but also enjoy whimsy... I would like to continue exploring pattern and texture, and find ways in which to include more of a visual narrative in my work.
