Day 1: Getting along with my Sharpie

I've never used my Sharpie before when drawing, and I must confess I had a great time!

Sketching and drawing bring me happiness and joy, and I wish I could do it everyday, but I'm always blocking my creative process as I'm afraid I won't be a good artist.

So to make this piece I decided I would let my hands and my heart free of judgments. I allowed myself to make mistakes, to explore and to appreciate what I've done, seeing my artwork as a long and fun process to get better as an artist :)

Thanks Ria Sharon for day 1!

Day 2: Pastel, music and doodle :)

Last month I was visiting my grandmother and she gave to me a lot of art supply she wasn't using anymore. It made me so happy to have her pastels! I'd never really used pastels before, so I decided to make some doodles with it for day 2, as I listened to a great Brazilian band, Boogarins :)

Day 3: I have time

"I don't have time" is definitely the excuse I use most often for the things I really want to do but I don't actually do. It's funny because I hadn't look to it as an excuse before! Up to now, I truly believed I didn't have the time. So instead of using the dice, for day 3 I decided I would draw for no matter how long it would take me. I took the burden of time away and I had such an amazing time :)
