I am an illustrator, & pattern designer looking to grown my brand, & finally get my butt into gear! I really found the previous course helpful in focusing me, & I am looking forward to making something pretty!!

I basically looked through Pinterest & gathered anything that caught my eye!

I really love the contrast of the black & bright floral pattern, as well of the mint colours. I want to tie in my key words of 'quirky, unique & imaginative' into my logo design.

I love typography & ideally want to create a type based, simple logo for social media & watermarking. As well as a more complex version (using the same font)  for headers, business cards & flyers.

Typography

I did my sketching & search for typefaces at the same time, I was looking for something cursive, to inspire my EM initials, as well as something more simple.

Looking through 1001fonts I found a load I liked & 'liked' them for further reference

I'm going to try out various ones on my designs to see which I like best in situ!

I have kinda developed an idea...... 3 levels of logo, a basic 'symbol' with my initials, a more involved one with additional text & then a full on banner (which I am hoping to use to inspire more branding products).

Colour

By using the WONDERFUL design-seeds.com (on which I lost a couple of hours....) I chose my palatte, some of these I won't use much, but I like having a variety. I am planning the larger circles more.

Slightly more complex (sized for Facebook):

Twitter background:

I think I need to change out some of the images for patterns, but there currently anything I like enough to add!

I like that I can update & change the images for different uses, or as I create more work, I have another banner for Facebook which is just 4 images wide.

Unsure if the background is too distracting or if it adds?? I have tried a couple of other colour combinations for the logo but this is my fav!
