All the above portraits were sketched, painted, collaged, etc.  in response to Ria Sharon's February 2016 Embrace Your Art challenge. I have only recently started drawing.  Actually December 19, 2015 was the first day I decided to try my hand at drawing faces.  For years I was only comfortable drawing stick figures.  For this challenge I decided to limit myself to portraits on paper.  I am now so much more comfortable with the idea of exploring faces.... they just come alive and each has a personality of its own.  Many, many thanks to Ria Sharon for the challenge!.  It allowed me to s-t-r-e-t-c-h myself artistically, as I have never done before.  Hello World!  Here I come!
