Drawing exercises: 4th class

Hello everyone, here is another drawing class in my ongoing series classes dedicated to the craft of drawing.  Hope you like it, description is below the links.

Classes in series so far:

Drawing exercises - linear perspective (part one)

Drawing exercises - figure drawing with simple shapes

Drawing exercises - shading objects and figure drawing

Drawing exercise - basics of line making

In this first linear perspective class about perspective we'll talk about the most important concepts and techniques related to. We’ll see what artists have used for centuries and make projects that will help you understand what you're seeing and transfer it on paper with greater clarity.

Create a strong foundation for your perspective drawing process and from there make art that your friends and family would love to see on their walls.

  • Gather up materials such as pencils, erasers and rulers. Set up your workplace and start practicing.
  • Make simple exercises to warm up and start drawing.
  • Learn things about perspective and how it is helpful in order to create great drawings.
  • Experiment with one point perspective
  • See how to use construction lines to make one point perspective buildings.
  • Use erasers to further enhance the look of perspective drawing.

Start making drawings with confidence of a professional draughtsman.

Learning the basics of drawing is a great way to improve artistic toolbox. Works you crate can become a great part of your creative career or a passionate hobby. They can be sold as originals or as prints. Also, they can be excellent choice for a present or a decoration for your home. Finally, you can use them as a reference for a painting done in some other medium. The choice is up to you.

Creating something out of nothing is a very satisfying and in time you’ll achieve more and more confidence in your artistic process. In this course we’ll cover much of it and split it up to easy to follow steps that can only benefit your work, whether it's in graphic design, illustration or painting.

Thanks for all the suggestions and comment in this course, it was and still is a great learning tool for marketing on SkillShare. Thanks to this class I got over 320 students on one course and I started working on a new one -

Watercolor Painting: painting outdoors

Here are a few things that I've done so far:

I send free enrollment links for my first course to my friends and family and then made posts on Linked In, Tumblr and Tweeter explaining what this is all about and inviting people to take a look and then decide if they want to join the course.

I added text to cover image of the course to make bigger impact on the viewers.

Also I left notes on my intro video as suggested in this marketing course. Updating this project as well as the one in June challenge is something worth while doing. Remember to regularly check up on your course and leave comments if needed. Join different social media groups relevant to your class subject and share your work there. Be positive. :) :) :)
