Paint Dreamy Vintage Doors and Windows in Watercolor

Hi Pat! thank you for taking my class and for sharing your work! i understand where you're coming from. sometimes it's hard to resist adding details. but instead of adding details, consider adding variation of tones on the plants and flowers so you can create dimension on them. :) the looseness of the plants in the door painting is really nice for me. since they are so loose, the door, which is the main subject, was even more emphasized. which is very good! &lt;3as for the window painting, try darkening the shutters some more so the tonal value of the shutter and the flowers are not the same. apply what you did on the door painting (door is darker and more detailed while plants were loose, less details) to the windows and im sure the window painting will pop out even more beautifully! &lt;3

I'm afraid the flowers look too blobby. I am wanting to define them more somehow, even though I know this is supposed to be a loose painting!
