Short version....

Lose 70 lbs, tone, lose as many inches as possible by end of 2013.


Food - medical shakes to put me in ketosis until I get close to goal (by July or August) and then I'll slowly transition to a mostly vegetarian diet

Exercise - modify monthly to avoid boredom

   - Start gently (post surgery) with walks, increasing in distance.

   - Add resistance & flexibility training using own body weight, small free weights, bands, balls, etc.

   - Add cycling by April (May at the latest)

   - Increase intensity monthly
