Detroit | Toile de Jouy

I loved this class and I thank Bärbel Dressler for an awesome and thorough job teaching it.

Back in the 90's I had drawn these architectural landmarks in and around Detroit, Michigan. They were published on a regional planning companies annual report and I was able to keep the artwork. As Detroit is experiencing a Renaissance of the city, I've been coming up with different ways to showcase my drawings and to celebrate the city I love. What better time to create a Toile de Jouy pattern and I am looking for feedback as this is my first time creating in this style. I am also including a classic version without any vignette behind the drawings....at the end.
