Detroit Rises

It is no secret Detroit has experienced hard times. Our city is often portrayed in a negative light, as being filled with crime, political scandals, and abandoned buildings. Yet, the efforts to rebuild in recent years have been tremendous and our city is definitely turning around. People are staying in and moving to Detroit to start businesses and raise families, million dollar investments are being made, and neighborhoods are being restored. Detroit is a resilient city with life and beauty and these photos are aimed to reflect that. The world should get to know the real us and watch us rise.
