First off this class was awesome, so thank you! I've always wanted to get better at hand lettering and I think this helped a lot.

So I actually live in Chicago and started sketching that out at first. I liked a few of the ones I started with but as I sketched more I just really wasn't feeling the letters.

I was just in Denver, so I decided to give those letters a crack and it felt a lot better.

I really liked the gold paint marker, but wasn't necessarily liking how it looked on the white paper. I found some black construction paper and the result was pretty cool in my opinion.

Had a few messups with the marker but I thought it looked kind of cool and knew if I wanted to I could edit that out in the photoshop stage.

I really enjoyed the photoshop aspect of the project. It was nice to be able to go back and do a little fine tuning.

I'm pretty happy with the end result. I know the letters aren't perfect but I think it's a pretty good start. I also feel like my shading is a little off, so if any one has some pointers or thoughts please let me know.
