Death

I have chosen to adapt "Death" from Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson. I chose to work with this text for many reasons. Every story in the novel is so genuine and honest. It was actually difficult for me to narrow it down to this one. "Death" is particularly touching to me because it is a unique love story, containing a creative love triangle. I also really enjoy Elizabeth Willard's unconventional and mysterious character.

Notes: I thought of a few different angles for telling this story, and kind of mashed them all together, so maybe it's not focused enough? Also, I always question my formatting...Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Logline: Lost in the mistakes of her past, a dying woman squanders her opportunity to give her son a better future.
