Day 1 - Using Crayola Supertips - image 1 - student project

My first attempt at this.  So for my first time at this, I aimed to just to practice getting the pressure down, which I did to a degree.

With next attempt - I tried to move my hand a bit more.  The downstroke was not to bad, but as you can see the upward stroke was a bit more difficult to get when moving my arm.

Once I started combing the two though it all just went out the window.  I felt both awkward and uncomfortable holding the pen and moving the pen with my arm instead of my wrist - especially starting heavy then light.  I was getting confused and it came across in this attempt with wonk and broken strokes - does not flow naturally.  _ I know I will have to keep practising.  Also I sort of gave up by the end. hahahaDay 1 - Using Crayola Supertips - image 3 - student project

My next attempt today.

Definitely starting to get the hang of the up and down stroke separately. The rest will come with practice.  I think I am over thinking it abit.  Day 1 - Using Crayola Supertips - image 4 - student project

My final attempt for today - made some note on here for myself to help me for next time what to aim for.

I also feel like this shows my improvement.
