Dan's Workspace

Update April 2016

I wanna get a tattoo. And wanna design it with HYPE :)

My goal is to achieve something like the tattoo on the left: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_jogqk21B5EQ/S0SmXf2fzKI/AAAAAAAAAGc/nk0LIw_6DyA/s1600-h/dotkor+promo.jpg

And here's my first step with pure HYPE code. Took me an hour or so.

Upon request I've uploaded the source code for the kaleidoscope to Github: https://github.com/bodnerdan/hypekaleidoscope

Below is everything from 2015:

Tadaaa, my first artwork is here:

It's pretty much the HGridLayout lesson using a SVG that I drew in Inkscape.

The following artwork combines a background-JPG together with HPixelColorist (with the background's JPG as its source), a HDrawablePool (containing HPath-stars), and a HShapeLayout (using a PNG as its source, which is drawing a blob over Carell's head).

This is the mask that I've used:

Here's a slight variation, with random-sized polygons (8 edges) instead of stars:
