Day 14/14: #obsessed
Honestly, there isn’t much I’m obsessed with, coronavirus has kind of put a damper on those things. But the things I am obsessed with is anything fall, I have a love for all things candles, and I love ice cream always and forever
Day 13/14: Reliable Recipe
Arguably one of my favorite Hello Fresh meals. It’s got a little bit of spice, but then the cucumber and avocado cool things over.
Day 11/14: My favorite corner
this was my favorite corner, out on the back deck surrounded by plants and fresh air. Now the weather is turning and the flowers are wilting, but I had a great time in my favorite corner while it lasted.
Day 10/14: Grocery Run
Nothing fancy about our grocery run. Normally we order Hello Fresh or Green Chef, but I’ve put those meals on hold to free up some of my time.
Day 9/14: Self care Necessities
I am running behind! Anyways, my self care includes naps, sleeps, hot showers and chocolate. Makeup is now a big self care component. When I worked in an office, my makeup would be done. But now that I work from home, my makeup routine is nonexistent. Now, I’ll put on makeup as a pick me up, which helps my mood.
Day 8/14: I keep wearing
For this exercise, I wanted to share my pre and post COVID outfits. The transition back to the office will be a shocker, that’s for sure.
Day 7/14: Currently Cravings
I ate most of these today. My taste buds are gone.
Day 6/14: Daily Routine
My daily routine is pretty boring. I wake up, get ready, work 9-5 shift, make dinner, check social media, draw/take classes, go to bed. Rinse and repeat. I’m nervous when I’ll have to go back to the office- I’ve been working remotely since March 13th. I’m nervous because that will take more time out of my schedule (actually put on makeup, drive time, etc) which means less time drawing :(
Day 5/14: Ingredients to my mess
For me, my ingredients to my mess...are literal ingredients. It’s that time of year to make my favorite fall time food- pumpkin bread!
3 cup sugar, 1 cup oil, 3 whole eggs, 1 can pumpkin (15 oz), 3 cup flour, 1tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp ground cloves, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp ground nutmeg, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 cup walnuts. Mix in order given. Pour into prepared loaf pans lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour 15 min (adjust time based on your oven, I do 1 hour). Cool in pans. EAT.
Day 4/ 14: Latest reading material
I work in the Procurement office for a major manufacturing company. My main responsibilities are to support the tools and systems used by Payables. I read a lot of technical and functional designs to validate system performance. Unfortunately, I don’t take up reading outside of that. I read subtitles on the tv tho! If you don’t watch tv with subtitles, you are missing out. Game changer.
Day 3/14: Creating with
I’ve limited myself to the digital medium- the undo/redo plays a huge role in my creative process. Other mediums scare me a bit because of the level of commitment. I have attempted to do watercolors, acrylics and charcoals in the past, but they were a fading hobby for me. I’ve really grown to using Procreate because it’s simple to use, I can still imitate watercolor, acrylic and charcoal, without running out of paper. I also create with my puppers, Pepper & Loki nearby.
Day 2/14:recently learned
i recently returned from a staycation on Lake Huron in Michigan. We had tin foil dinners and ate like kings- we had squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, onions, peas, asparagus all cooked over campfire. Yum!
Day 1/14: currently listening to
In general, I’ve been listening to tracks popularized by TikTok. But I do have a preference on female artists, and unfortunately I could not feature all my favorites.
