Changing up the colors a bit, instead of the torn paper effect I am deciding to go with a more vintage border with embellishments.
This is where I'm at! Let me have some feedback on what you think?? I originally wanted to do a lawn behind the motorcycle with some trees and buildings in the distant background but the client has bumped the time on finishing this project up so I'm having to sacrifice a few things. I LOVE the way the bike turned out though!
There are no textures added yet, I'll be getting to that next, roughing up the edges and overall feel. Those little strips at the bottom are bacon, I'll probably color them in...if not just change them to actual grills...they like bacon so this is more of a personal touch for the client.
This is the reference imagery I used, I was going for an old school vintage kind of feel. Tough, but not too tough...these are fun loving dads too :) Still not positive If I want this to be a 1-2 color like the "widowmaker" or go full color.
This event poster (11 x 17) is for a church in Missouri. The theme is DadFest and they are providing a day for all the dad and men to get together and hang. Motorcycles, bikes, grilling...all the manley stuff you could ask for. This is the initial sketch I had for it.
