First water colour project!
I followed this class along from start to finish in about an hour. I have this really holy amazing heating device I use instead of a hair dryer. It's from when I was really obsessed with embossing and stamps - super hot, a lot quieter than a hair dryer and everything dries in seconds. I can't remember what it cost but I'll ballpark it at $20 CAN. IF you hate how loud a hair dryer is I'd recommend it.

All in all I wasn't happy with my first go - but I'll never be happy at this point. I'm just starting to get back into genuine attempts at art and creativity since High School - so you're looking at some 15 odd years of no development with technique or style since then. At least I'm drawing equivalent to high school and didn't get worse.

I really didn't do so well on the ice cream. I do like my cookie and my doughnut.

Lastly, I did a cupcake - not Yasmina's cupcake I found a different image online to try out. I like this style of colouring but I do wish I had gone darker. I think I was a little worried I'd make it turn into mud. I think I might try to do another cupcake in a few weeks to see if I've improved but for now I'm going to finish a different Skillshare project and then do Yasmina's cute animals.
