Creature Conglomerate

Yo, my name is Scott and I'm a Canadian artist who especially loves creature design. RJ Palmer is one of my many inspirations and I am ecstatic to be in this class, learning from one of the best alongside fellow creature design enthusiasts.

I noticed a lot of people were doing dragons and the like, so I tried to go a different route. I honestly still have no idea what I'm doing, even after I drew a bunch of body shapes and expanded on them from there. I rather like the body shapes of 2, 4, and 12, but I'm not sure if the features I have on them right now are the way to go about them. 4 is especially plain.

I normally design mammals, reptiles, and birds, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to venture out into my absolute favorite animal group: creepy crawlies. I rather like the idea of a world where there are dinosaur sized bugs roaming about. Ones that superficially look like hadrosaurs or tyrannosaurs or any others!

What do you guys think? Should I explore some more dino-bug concepts, or stick to what I know?
