Michael is the CEO/co-founder of Skillshare, a global learning community for real-world skills. Skillshare offers classes centered around creativity, collaboration, and project-based learning.

Previously, Michael developed products and services that organized the creative world at Behance (acquired by Adobe) and led the product team at Hot Potato (acquired by Facebook).

Michael is also a Venture Advisor for Collaborative Fund, 2012 TED Fellow, and listed as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia and VCU Brandcenter. In his spare time, he doubles as a cheeseburger connoisseur, aspiring yogi, and House of Cards fanatic. He currently lives in Alphabet City, New York City.
