Class Project:

So I kinda got bored of seeing all the usual tutorials on Flat Design that are based on creating a typical set of icons. In this class, we do stuff a bit differently. For your class project, we are going to make a  mind map and illustrate that through Flat Design. This will enhance your understanding of Flat Design and understand one of it's major application, which is creating interesting and interactive infographics.

What do you have to do? Simply map out one of your favourite areas in your city (preferably small) and think of a few places that are located there. It could be your favourite monument or café or bookstore? Then, create minimalistic flat icons for these and map them out using Adobe Illustrator. I will be guiding you through each step in this class.

Don't forget to upload your class project.I can't tell you how excited I am to see your work.
