Wow Ceithre, I love the cranes but absolutely adore the background in your final composition. I am going to go have a play in Clip Studio Paint Pro :) Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Ceithre! Wow great start, I really like this work! I think your composition and choice of colours is very good; the birds look very elegant, like they are dancing together. Perhaps the only thing I'd do different is the dark blue background which I simplify and draw as a silhouette. The gradients on the legs and feathers are fantastic. Was this your first time using Illustrator? :) —Dominic

Thank you for the feedback and kind words :) I'll try to simplify the dark blue background. Yes, this was my first use of Illustrator - I used to think it's very complicated, but I begin to like it. Thank you again for the class!

I specifically searched for crane's couple because I want to use them to make customized wedding&nbsp;cards for my friends (it&nbsp;symbolizes good fortune and longevity.)

Below is my first attempt to add a background (I mixed a few&nbsp;patterns and overlays in Clip Studio Paint Pro.)
