Completed 100 Reluctant Stars

I began by cutting up the idea slips, folding them up, and picking one at random. I got Star. Meh. I didn't feel inspired, so I threw it back in and shook up the options again. What did I pick? Star. Can't argue with the universe. 100 stars it is.

Here are my first few stars. Now that I've started, I'm rather intrigued to see what will happen with the reluctant star challenge.

Food, scratching in melted crayon, melted crayon (trying out my new Cray-Pen), photography with Photoshop manipulation.

I've been playing with some of my art tools. I'm ready to put them away and finish the last four in some other media, but I've learned a lot. It's freeing to just play and not worry about the outcome.

Final Update:

I started this project reluctantly with a subject matter that I really didn't like. But, the ideas began to flow fast. I made a long list and didn't get to half of my ideas. Some of my stars are pretty crappy. I really like some of them. My stars represent me feeling lazy, inspired, experimental. I had great fun with some and others I lost the thread but kept on. Thanks for the inspiration, Faye!
