I found the step-by-step process of this class so helpful! I've only used pencil solvent once before and I realise now that the paper I used was too smooth and I used too much solvent. This time went much better, although I still think that I need a lot more practice!
First layer of coloured pencil
First attempt with the solvent. It didn't turn out how I wanted it to, so I decided to do another layer.
After another layer of pencil and solvent. To be honest, I still wasn't happy with it at this point! I think it started to look better after I began adding in the details.
My final drawing. I was really struggling to get my white pencil to show up, so I think I'll be treating myself to the white Caran D'ache pencil that Kirstie mentions soon! I was really pleased with how it turned out in the end though.
Thank you for doing this class Kirsty! I really enjoyed it :) Please do more Skillshare classes soon!
