Color Wheels: Unraveling the mystery of color

Color Wheels: Unraveling the mystery of color - student project

10182020:

I thought it would be interesting to post these color wheels that I have been making that go along with the class on Chris’ website re: the Color Game. I know that I will end up with a huge pile of these over time if I keep it up! It seemed to me that I would learn more and be able to go back and understand what I have done if I made color wheels of the ones I pick for different projects. While I am not playing the color game as intended (I intend to do that when I finish a few Skillshare classes I have underway), it has been fun to apply part of the game (roll the dice, pick the color scheme to use) and then see what happens.

I have five combinations at this point. Thinking it would be a good idea to make a page of the templates so I can shorten the process by printing them out on watercolor paper.

This was more challenging than other color wheels I have done where the colors don’t mix. Easier to stay between the lines...

Here they are, two different color mixes changing only the reds for the second one.
