Coffee patterrn

I'm huge fan of a cup of coffee every morning. Actually I can drink coffee all the time, but I think it's not so good. So guess It would be better to make a coffee pattern :)

     1. Gathering inspiration.

Was looking on pinterest for some inspiration. Also I have some stuff for making coffee at home (now prefer mocha and french press is awesome for making capuccino milk!), that's really inspiring.

I love to take food photos in my journeys so I decided to include some in my coffee moodboard.

And here we are! Actually I'm not sure what the result would be but it's a real fun to gather the material :)

      2. Drawing and digitizing

So I've sketched some coffee objects and vectorized some of them, that feel really cohesive, in Illustrator.

Don't want it to be perfectly lined, let there be some sketchy drawing :)

And I have an idea how to give the final pattern some vintage air, will add it on the next step.

3. And finally, here we are! :)

Was having fun looking through color palettes on ColourLovers, so many great ones it's really hard to choose. And also I've added some textures: coffee cup stains and shabby one, to add some vintage air to the pattern.

And I really love both the process and result.

Thank you, Elizabet and thank you Skillshare for such an opportunity! Definitely will go on making more patterns :)
