City Spaces

Thanks Joe for the fantastic class!  I never thought to run a photo through VSCO -> Snapseed -> VSCO again for one more pass at layering.

What started off as a brief interest in beautiful photos turned into an interest in mobile photography... and now a full blown love for photography in general.  One of the interesting things that I've learned to do more often now that I've begun to take a more active interest in photography is keeping my eyes open.  To really learn to observe the world around more in a much more active and in depth way as opposed to observing the surface.  In no way am I great at this, but I have found that I have improved over the last few months and classes like these are great at opening my eyes up to the world around me and helping me develop my own sense of style.  I think one of the toughest things about developing my own style is I feel like such a chameleon at times and it feels like the images that I take and edit, at times, seem all over the place.  However, I have found that Joe's class has helped me focus this a bit more.  I'll just keep on snapping for now!

Below are a few photos that I've taken in the city and have tried to give an overall theme to.  Let me know what you think!

Thanks, Kev @chanhokwan
