In this project, we are assigned to identify shapes within portraits  -referenced from Pinterest- by filling out the shadows in order to clearly define all the sorts of shapes that create a portrait.

In the final Student Project we are assigned to draw a portrait from scratch, utilizing Chris' methods:

First is the reference photo taken from Pinterest, then the blocking of the shapes of the features and shadows, and finally the shaded and "complete" portrait. I added my own artistic flair to it and made her more suspicious looking with a cigarette.
